Aurora was founded in 2009 by Mr. Andrew Johnson along with a group of passionate individuals who wanted to create and bring high quality, energy efficient lighting to the world. Today, 14 years on, the company has become a reputed and well respected name in the LED lighting industry. Aurora prides itself over creative product designs, excellent research and development and innovative engineering and technology; all of which work together to create items that are simply the best that can be found in the market today. Today the Aurora group serves more than 40 countries with 23 international facilities which were created especially for Research and Development, manufacturing, sales, marketing and distribution.

The company has developed high quality thermal management technologies which it has implemented in its LED Lamps. As LED bulbs do not generate or tolerate heat like incandescent lamps do, they need to be provided with good quality heat protection. Aurora’s CrystaCool technology has the smallest active heat sink on the planet and ensures that the lamp does not heat past negligible quantities.

All of Aurora’s products come with a specially developed diamond faceted Micro Lens Array (MLA) which has been featured in their LEDchroic lamps which are a true replacement of halogens when comparing both quality of light and appearance. Their bulbs also offer the best lumen maintenance in the industry allowing them to have a respectably long life. LED bulbs, unlike incandescent or fluorescent bulbs do not die by just blinking out; instead they slowly lose their output over the years giving you plenty of forewarning. In fact a LED bulb is considered dead only if its lumen output is at 70% of its original capacity.

Finally, the lamps offered by Aurora also have fantastic color temperatures, thanks to a good selection of materials with which the bulbs are produced. The color temperature is that distinct cool blue or the warm yellow that you get from a LED light and is expressed in Kelvin.
